almost everyone who loves hamlet and horatio loves newt and hermann and almost everyone who loves newt and hermann loves aziraphale and crowley

100% can verify, seeing as I have written unreasonable amounts of fic about all 3 pairings

Hey um, the 2019 Intersex Inclusion Survey is mainly being circulated in TERF circles right now, which I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain is uh… Bad? So please take it! Please circulate it! Share it on and off Tumblr!

You don’t have Intersex or LGBTQ+ to take it!

hey all- if you can, fill this out! It’s super quick and the idea of the results being skewed because of a shit sample is killing my lil research-brain.

Though tbh the birthday party scene gives me such fucking whiplash in like two pages bc it’s interesting/painful to see that it’s only after one of Warlock’s friends uses that slur that he considers Warlock to be ‘obviously infernally tainted’ not when Warlock heckles him, esp considering the likelihood of that slur being used against Aziraphale in a context more threatening than an 11 year old.

…it’s the things like this scattered throughout the entirety of the freaking text that make me just boggle at people who Don’t Get It, re: Aziraphale’s queerness.

There are people who have emotional support animals. You, on the other hand, have an emotional support eldritch abomination.

This describes both the Venom and Lilo and Stitch movies

There’s something very Romeo and Juliet about Crowley and Aziraphale, and I’m not just talking about defiance of squabbling sides with ancient rivalries

I mean we have two people in love with language, someone emotionally fragile, capable of causing great harm, caught up in a friend group on a path to destruction, and someone else isolated, nearly friendless, extremely intelligent, under the thumb of family

And they find and cling to one another (quite quickly upon their first meeting) in the hope of creating their own little world.

How much do the sides they belong to know? They know they’re different, just like everyone is different.

They’re a dove feather raven and an angel on the eastern horizon, but mostly just people.

One commits murder in self-defense, the other for a time appears to have died. The value of life seems painfully contingent on the possibility of being together. They’re willing to die together, existence without the other seems unbearable, because the system is not so much broken as badly designed.

Where their story diverges, though, is with the happy ending.  And I’m forever grateful that, for once, tragedy doesn’t win.  In awe of it, even.

They get to keep their world, and they get to keep each other.
